It's in dutch so i'm gonna translate it for ya people ! hope you like it.

Hi avril in you'r single 'He wasn't' you are talking about guy's need to do
certain stuff to get the girl. Do those statements count for you
as well ?
Avril : on that point i'm very, traditional and old fashion
boys must be respectfull on that level.
And it's normal for them to pay the bills after a date and open open the door.
And that they keep in mind what a girl prefers and likes.
Every girl deserves to be pampered like a princess,
otherwise the guy isn't worth her.
So the guy allways has to pay the bill ?
Avril : Yes
Only on a date or allways ?
Avril : allways
And what about flowers ?
Avril : ofcourse he does give presents on a regular basis
that convinent.
So are there other things wich a guy can satisfy a girl ?
Avril : that depends on the feeling of the guy
but if he behaves well than he's a long way ahead,
being friendly and begaving himself as a gentleman
is the most important.
And how does the girl act against the guy ?
Avril : also respectfull, depending on her intens feelings for him,
honesty is important.
So tell me how are you with a boy ?
Avril : I'm a real softie, so i expect that the guy
treats me with dignity, he doesn't gave to impress or anything that doesn't
effect me. i just want him to be kind, so not than he isn't worth my time any longer,and i don't waste my time.
Are you allways so uptight with men ?
Avril : absolutly, i want to be treated well otherwise
he can fuck off.
You'r currently together with Deryck Whibley from sum 41
and you went to several concerts of him, how does it feel to stand a a regular
person within the crowd ?
Avril : can we please only talk about my music ?

Shortly ago you were on stage with fellow canadian
Alanis morissette, how was that ?
Avril : cool ! we did two songs together my 'losing grip'
and her 'ironic' , it was great to do that by the way
cause i've allways been a big fan of hers.
Was was the hardest : singing her song or yours ?
Avril : It doesn't matter
i know all of alanis her songs,
it was a great thing to do it was a highlight
of my career.
So can we expect a duet from you both ?
Avril : no idea
Are you allready working on your next record ?
Avril : i'm currently on tour till september,
all of my attention goes out to the shows.
Do you like to tour ?
Avril : yeah, it's fun to explore diffrent parts of the world
like europe and asia.
You've changed your look, how come ?
Avril : i was 17 when i became famous now i'm 20,
don't you think every person grows and becomes more mature?
Changing your look or style when your getting older a must say is completly normal.
Now your older, are you more comfortable
wearing a dress ?
Avril : yes, i don't have any problems with it.
But i just don't understand why everyone is making such a big deal ou of it.
Do you think that ?
Avril : yes , evryone makes the same comments about how my stule has changed, ofcourse it has changed !

Avril : listen i never said i was punk. i'm just someone with an open mind and i speak my mind. i'm a punk because of that ? No.
I don't like not being myself.
thats why i don't have a big enourage, i don't want it.
i don't need stylists touching my body or minding other things.
I just want do do what i like to do.
Till now do you have any regrets ?
Avril : no ! having regret afterwards
is completly not positive. you learn from your mistakes and experiences.
Are you some one who lives day by day ?
Avril : yeah , i learn new things everyday.
And what did you learn today ?
Avril : nothing; i'm just a lives experience richer.
Do you think about the future much ?
Avril : yes , allot. i ask myself allot of purposes
that i want to accomplish. i'm a very motivated person
as you like to know.
Whats your next aim ?
Avril : Just normal thing i want to accomplish in my career
and in my personal life.
i'm thinking about my third record and the upcomming tour, ofcourse.
but on the thing that are private i'm not gonna expand.
Are you thinking about becoming a mom? or what that be the end of your career ?
Avril : i don't think having children means the end of your career.
look at Madonna she combines two without a problem.
Madonna disepeared from the spotlight when she had kids...
Avril : Thats completly her right !
i'm only 20 so i don't have to worry about these things.

Do you have other plans for your future ?
Ofcourse but i don't talk about it in interviews

Avril : i just do my own thing. i don't care what others do.
How long do you see yourself surviving in the music buisness ?
I'm deffinatly planning to last awhile, music is still the biggest part in my life
and your not gonna see it change anytime soon.
And what are you gonna do if the succes suddenly stops ?
Avril : it's not gonna stop i'm not affraid of that.
How can you be so sure ?
Avril : i'm a very driven person i'm realy motivated
and thats the key of real succes. with hard work you reach the top , nothing else.
What keeps you motivated then ?
Avril : i only do things that make me happy, and on this moment on music is still that.
Recently there were some explicite pictures of you were we saw you partying
and smoking and drinking ...
Avril : so what ? i give myself the whole month of januari off, so yeah i offten went away with friends, don't forget i allways work the rest of the year so i cant go out !
But you like strong party ?
I dont party as much as most people think, but yeah i like a party here and there.
i like to have fun a human only lives once you know.
Are you religious ?
Avril : No
Do you belive in god ?
Avril : yes
So you are religous ?
Avril : a religious person goes to church every sunday, i think,
and a religious person follows the rules, i don't , so i'm not religious , but i do
belive in god, but actually that no ones buisness.
Your are very defensive if we talk about personal things ...
Avril : i don't have to talk about my personal life i don't want to. artist or not,
people can't demand that from me.
stars like Britney spears don't have any problem with making there personal life public, it's like they don't care that people constantly visualise and critisise them.
i don't care but i just like to keep my personal life private, it's just the way i am.
