En MTVla.com aparece una entrevista de noticias MTV con Avril donde habla de su nuevo album y de su participacion en la banda sonora de 'Eragon' Disfrutenlo..!

Avril Lavigne ya terminó prácticamente su tercer álbum de estudio, titulado The Best Damn Thing. MTV Noticias habló con ella y también nos contó cómo fue que escribió el tema principal del éxito cinematográfico Eragon.

"Ellos vinieron y me mostraron un clip de la película y me contaron de qué se trataba la película. Me agarraron en el momento perfecto porque yo estaba en el estudio en ese momento grabando el disco, en pleno vuelo creativo para escribir canciones, así que les dije 'Ok, cool!' y escribí dos canciones pero les entregué sólo una, 'Keep Holding On', y les encantó. Es una balada muy linda que le va muy bien a la película, la canción habla de siempre ser fuerte pero no cegarse por el poder, de seguir adelante sin temerle a los obstáculos, del destino y ese tipo de cosas."

Avril también dijo que la canción aparecería probablemente en su nuevo disco. El primer sencillo de The Best Damn Thing se titula 'Girlfriend' y se lanza a las radios en febrero.
