Over on the Digital Songs chart, history is made. The top three songs each sell in excess of 300,000 downloads for the first time outside of the Christmas holiday season.

Lorde's "Royals" jumps 3-1 with 307,000—up 17% for its first week at No. 1 and best sales week yet. Behind her is Katy Perry's "Roar," which holds steady at No. 2 with 301,000 (down 10%) and Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball," down 1-3 with a little more than 301,000 as well (down 37%). (The sales of both titles have been rounded to the nearest thousand. "Wrecking Ball" is behind "Roar" by a margin of less than 1% in sales.)

Segundo single una balada....

Katy Perry's latest Billboard cover story is out today, and in the pop star's breakdown of all things "PRISM," she confirmed that the power ballad "Unconditionally" will serve as the forthcoming album's second single.

When Perry previewed "PRISM" at an industry listening event earlier this month, the singer described "Unconditionally" as her favorite song on her third record, which is due out on Oct. 22. With woodblock percussion and throbbing bass, "Unconditionally" sounded like a grown-up, more grounded version of "Teenage Dream's" starry-eyed second single and title track. "There is no fear now... I will love you unconditionally," Perry sings on the track.

Perry all but confirmed that "Unconditionally" would be the follow-up to "Roar" at the iHeartRadio Music Festival last Friday (Sept. 20). "It's a love song and it's different from 'Roar' — it's not eighth-notey," Perry told MTV about the follow-up single. "And I think it's a universal love song that everyone's going to be able to relate to no matter the age, no matter male or female. It's my favorite song off the record."

"Roar," which became Perry's eighth No. 1 single on the Hot 100 chart, holds tight at No. 2 on this week's chart, while album track and non-single "Dark Horse" (featuring Juicy J) debuted at No. 17 on the tally. Perry debuted the latter song live, alongside Juicy J, during her iHeartRadio set.

A mí me gusta mucho. Es muy Katy Perry, su pop básico. No arriesga demasiado y se mantiene con su estilo de siempre. Suena muy homogéneo y algunas canciones me parecen muy buenas.
Legendary lovers, walking on air, unconditionally, this is how we do, double rainbow, it takes two y choose your battles creo que son las que más me gustan.

por dios aburrido horrible sin una linea musical... TD es señor discazo

Lo cierto es que a mí me ha gustado bastante. No tiene temazos destacados como en Teenage Dream (Firework, California Gurls, Peacock), pero es mucho más homogéneo que el último.

Las mejores: International Smile, This Moment, Unconditionally.
Las más flojas: Legendary Lovers, Spiritual, It Takes Two, Ghost.
